NHL Sponsorship Revenue Totals $477 Million In 2015-2016 Season

Sponsorship spending on the National Hockey League and the league’s 30 clubs is expected to total $477 million in the 2015-2016 season, up 6.7 percent from the previous year, according to IEG research.

Despite the lack of significant new deals at the league level, the National Hockey League continues to hold its own—and then some—as a result of continued corporate interest at the team level.
