Situation: USA Rugby sponsor The Amy National Guard requested that USA Rugby hire IEG to provide a Return on Sponsorship (ROS) Analysis documenting the fair market value of its partnership as well as an accompanying IEG Point-of-View that addressed ways in which the National Guard could better meet its sponsorship objectives.

How IEG Contributed: IEG’s analysis documented the tangible benefits that National Guard received, as well as the intangible benefits of the sponsorship. IEG further broke down the value that the National Guard received by each of its stated objectives, addressed partnership weaknesses and provided recommendations to increase the marketing value.

Results: The National Guard extended its partnership with USA Rugby, and per IEG’s recommendations, the two worked together to take the partnership in a different direction that more closely aligned with the National Guard’s sponsorship objectives.
