Keir Walton, Executive Vice President

As a member of IEG’s senior leadership team Keir works with our agency partners and global clientele to develop new and better ways for companies and brands to partner with sports, arts, events, entertainment, non-profits and causes — for mutual benefit.  In addition, he leads IEG’s competitive intelligence, global training, e-learning and information services groups.

Prior to joining IEG, Keir was executive vice president and chief operating officer at IDG, a strategic marketing communications firm. During his tenure at IDG he worked with leading organizations across all major industries, including Accenture, Bank of America, General Motors, Target and Visa.

Prior to IDG Keir was managing director at Harcourt, Inc., a subsidiary of Thomson Learning, and vice president of sales and marketing at PFC. In addition, he is the founder and CEO of Oak Hill Publishing Co., a highly successful entrepreneurial publishing venture.

Keir received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and has continuing education in electronic distribution and retailing from Harvard University. His undergraduate studies were in business and finance at Tulane University and the University of Connecticut.
