John Griffin, Senior Vice President, IEG Advisory Services
John crafts relationships between clients and IEG that are focused on maximizing sponsorship potential. He keeps his finger on the pulse of the sponsorship industry to understand the constantly changing needs of sponsors and properties, which allows him to serve as an ever-present resource for clients throughout the audit process, from initial development through post-audit counsel.
John draws from 18 years’ experience, where he managed sports and entertainment alliances for such blue-chip clients as Ernst & Young, Gillette, Perrier, Procter & Gamble, Cadillac and Philips Electronics. Prior to joining IEG, he was senior vice president at Clarion Marketing and Communications’ Sponsorship Group. John joined Clarion from Octagon’s Extreme and Adventure Sports Division.
John began his career at IBM, where he spent six years in a sales and marketing capacity. He holds a B.S. in economics from Colgate University.
